SALVATION

Salvation is available by faith through grace. It was accomplished through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross for the payment of our sins. Salvation cannot be earned; it is only by faith through grace in Jesus. Salvation occurs during a moment of conversion and continues throughout life through the process of sanctification. Justification, or conversion, is the moment when people accept Jesus' death on the cross as payment for their sins. Justification requires confessing and repenting of sin. Repentance means to turn away from sin and not continue in it. It is at the moment of conversion that the person begins their new life in Christ.
