BAPTISM

Baptism is an outward sign of Christian identification. It serves as a sign of regeneration and is an initiation into the body of Christ through church membership. It is the outward sign of an inward working of God’s grace and is the recipient’s ordination into ministry, a setting apart for the work of Christ’s church. Christians must live answerable to their baptism, i.e., they must conform to their new identity in Christ that is established at baptism. Persons of any age are welcome to receive the sacrament of Baptism in our church. Baptism can be performed through sprinkling, pouring, or immersion in water.
